Rent the Steam Deck portable Gaming PC for yourself or as an experience for someone to geek out over Valve's latest product!
Like the Nintendo Switch, this is a handheld gaming machine but one with greatly improved performance and runs PC games you may already own along with over 100 free games. Over 5,000 Steam games are verified to run without issue and more continue to be tested. By logging in to Steam here you can also view which games in your Steam library have already been tested and verified.
Unlike our Gaming Desktop PCs we rent, the Steam Deck can't be used for virtual reality. Although we like to hope Valve are working on combining a future Steam Deck with a new VR headset.

Only Wi-Fi and a Steam account (free to create) is required. After logging in and downloading any games, Wi-Fi is not required to play (excluding games that require internet such as online multiplayer games).
We use Courier Post to send the Steam Deck to you anywhere in New Zealand, and send you easy to follow instructions on how to set everything up.
Included in the package is a prepaid return label, so on the last day of the rental you can drop that off at your local post office, they'll scan it and return it to us. More information can also be seen in our how VR Rentals Work page.
